Where to stay

Pick the area first

Most groups want two things that pull against each other: walking distance to Broadway and a house big enough for everyone. Downtown has the walk but few true group houses. The neighborhoods a short rideshare away have the houses.

Check these before you pay

  • The permit. Nashville requires short-term rentals to hold a permit. Ask for the permit number; a legit host will have it ready.
  • Real beds. “Sleeps 16” often means sleeper sofas and air mattresses. Ask for the bed list room by room.
  • Bathrooms. Twelve people getting ready for Broadway need more than two.
  • Parking. Some buildings allow only one car per group. Plan on rideshares.
  • House rules. Quiet hours, guest limits and party rules are real in Nashville neighborhoods, and fines land on your group.
  • Cancellation terms. Big group trips change. Know the refund date before you pay the deposit.

Two homes, one booking

Nashville limits how many bedrooms a single rental can advertise, so bigger groups often book two homes next door to each other. Bundles let you do that in one booking. Check how many guests the listing allows, not just the bedroom count.
